According to the players, action in this Pot-Limit Omaha hand started with David Dongwoo Ko opening to 25,000 from under the gun. John Howe called in the hijack, as did Milton Martini in the cutoff. Action then folded to John Riordan in the big blind, who went all in for a bit over 110,000. Ko decided to four-bet pot. Howe called all in and Martini reshoved for 446,000. Ko called for the small additional amount and three players were all in before the flop.

The board ran out J♦K♠7♣9♣Q♦. Riordan, who was on the shortest stack, made top set, which was enough for the quadruple-up. Ko, who later commented that he was not at all optimistic with his trip-aces hand once it went four-way, won a big side pot with the overpair of aces and now sits on a stack of over 100 big blinds.

On a river reading 5♥J♣10♠J♦8♣ and a pot of over 700,000 in the middle, Dongwoo Ko went all in and John Howe folded and watched a massive pot be pushed to the other side of the table.

Ko asked, "Were you bluffing on the turn?" to Howe and Howe only offered an elusive response. Ko went on to say he had QxJx10xXx for the nuts.
