Lucky Bomb Pot Saves Napadow’s Tournament

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

NLH Bomb Pot

The flops were:
Q67
4JK

Kevin Napadow had only 100,000 chips of four big blinds left after posting the ante. Action checked to him in middle position, and he bet all-in.

One after another players folded despite getting great odds to try to eliminated Napadow, and as the button folded, and comments were made that it looked like Napadow just might get his small bet through. He would nearly triple up without opposition, which would be a great pick-up for him.

However, when it came to the last player, Boshuang Gao in early position, he said he disagreed. He informed the table had middle pair on both boards and made the call getting 3:1.

Kevin Napadow: Q9All in
Boshuang Gao: J7

Napadow was ahead on the top board and behind on the bottom.

The boards then ran out:
Q67109
4JK10Q

Napadow hit his gutshot straight on the turn of the bottom board and, on the river, made two pair on the top board. He was able to scoop the pot and keep his tournament alive.

The flop came out 362, and Funkhouser led out for a pot bet of 435,000. Benyamine went all in for the remainder of his stack and was instantly called by Funkhouser.

David Benyamine: QJ105All in

The K turn and A river did not help Benyamine's flush draw, and he was eliminated.
