2024 World Series of Poker
Nível: 33
Blinds: 150,000/300,000
Ante: 300,000
Michael Jordan (sorry, LeBron James fans). Tom Brady. Tiger Woods. Serena Williams. Phil Ivey. What do these five superstars have in common? They're all widely considered the best to have ever done it in their respective sports.
On Thursday, Ivey captured his 11th World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet when he took down Event #29: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship (6-Handed). That puts him alone in second place behind the 17 bracelets Phil Hellmuth holds.
Gj Hu raised to 500,000 from the hijack, Francisco Riosvallejo three-bet to 1,350,000 from the button and Hu called.
Hu checked at the sight of the Q♦4♦K♥ flop. Riosvallejo bet out 800,000 and Hu moved all in almost immediately. After some time in the tank, Riosvallejo called off the bet for his last 5,825,000.
Francisco Riosvallejo: A♦7♦
Gj Hu: K♠3♠
Hu was ahead with his pair of kings but Riosvallejo had a draw to the nut flush. The 10♦ completed Riosvallejo's draw and the 2♣ river confirmed his full double up.
Philippe Casciola moved all in for 1,800,000 from middle position. Fabian Rolli made the call from the hijack, covering Casciola.
Philippe Casciola: 6♦6♣
Fabian Rolli: 9♠9♥
Casciola needed help from the deck and found it on a Q♥6♥J♦ flop. The turn 10♠ gave Rolli more outs but the river 4♦ hit the felt, securing the double up for Casciola.
Francis Anderson raised to 1,200,000 from the cutoff leaving 50,000 chips behind. Guofeng Wang jammed all in, and Anderson made the call. Both players revealed their hands.
Francis Anderson: 9♦9♥
Guofeng Wang: J♠10♠
The board came J♣3♠K♥2♠2♦ for Wang to take the pot.
Mario Fata bet 1,200,000 from middle position and Vaughan Machado raised putting Fata all-in.
Mario Fata: Q♠Q♣
Vaughan Machado: A♥3♣
The runout came 5♣2♦8♦J♦A♦ and Machado hit the ace pair on the river to bust Fata.
Jeremy Chen opened the action with a raise to 500,000 from the hijack. Agharazi Babayev three-bet to 1,300,000 from the cutoff and Chen made the call.
Babayev continued for 675,000 on 7♣Q♣5♠ and Chen made the call.
Babayev fired 1,500,000 on the 6♦ turn before Chen moved all in for 2,900,000. Babayev was immediately disgusted with the situation and after a long tank, he eventually folded. Chen raked in a huge pot, catapulting him over the 9,000,000-chip mark.
