Hal Rotholz Among Big Stacks on Day 2 of Event #32: $1,500 Seven Card Stud
Day 2 of Event #32: $1,500 Seven Card Stud at the 2024 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas sees 107 players return from a starting field of 406. Each of them will have eyes on the $113,725 top prize and of course the WSOP gold bracelet that accompanies it.
The chipleader coming into the day is Burke Delange (312,000) who has around $60,000 in career live earnings, a figure that he can more than double with a strong finish in this event. Jeffrey Lo (267,000) sits not too far behind while Chun Yam (240,500) rounds out the top three.
Several notable players managed to put themselves in a good position coming into Day 2, including Ren Lin (229,000), Hal Rotholz (202,000) and John Cernuto (176,000). Rotholz and Lin will be looking to win their first WSOP bracelet while Cernuto will hope to join an exclusive club of four time bracelet winners at the conclusion of this event. Still, there is a long way to go with two full days of play left.

Of the returning players, only 61 will receive at least a minimum cash of $3,037. That means the bubble will be looming large from the start of play and things may tighten up fairly quickly as a result.
Play resumes at 1 p.m. local time in the Horseshoe Event Center with limits picking up in Level 16 at 5,000/10,000. Day 2 will continue for ten 60-minute levels before the survivors bag up for the third and final day.
