Tanner Takes Out Friedman
Nível 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Philip Tanner limped from early position, Adam Friedman limped from middle position, the small blind completed and the big blind checked.
The action checked to Friedman on the Q♥9♥4♣ flop. He potted for 48,000, which saw the blinds get out of the way. Tanner responded with a check-pot, Friedman raised all-in for 225,000, and Tanner called.
Adam Friedman: K♥5♦4♠4♥2♠
Philip Tanner: A♦Q♠10♥10♦8♥
Friedman was in great shape with his set of fours and dominating flush draw. However, the turn brought a miracle J♠ to give Tanner the straight.
The 3♠ river did not complete the flush or pair the board and Friedman was eliminated.
