Idema Doubles First Hand

Kirk Brown

Nível 23 : Limits 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

In the first Hand dealt of the day, short stack Daniel Idema got it all in preflop for 130,000 against Nick Caltabiano, who covered.

Daniel Idema: K♦K♠ All in
Nick Caltabiano: 4♠4♥

Idema was sitting in pretty good shape with his kings and the flop of K♥3♦J♣ wasn't the worst flop for him, either.

The runout of 9♣2♣ secured him the win and he scooped the pot for the double. He then went on to take down the next hand and is up to 420,000.
