Chad Eveslage opened from middle position and, after lengthy consideration, Dan Shak three-bet out of the small blind, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Action folded back to Eveslage who called and, mistakenly thinking Shak was all in, turned over Q♠J♥.
The flop came 6♣K♦6♠, prompting Shak to go deep into the tank. Eventually, with a sigh and a declamatory "I am drawing almost dead" Shak tossed his last chip into the middle. Eveslage quickly called.
