Moreschi Bailed Out on the River
Nível 21
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Caleb Furth opened to 45,000 from the hijack, Stephen Moreschi raised to 160,000 from the cutoff and Daniel Lowery three-bet to 560,000 rom the small blind. Furth folded while Moreschi called, committing the majority of his stack in the process.
The flop came J♦7♣5♣ and the rest of Moreschi's chips quickly got in the middle.
Stephen Moreschi: A♦K♦8♠2♠
Daniel Lowery: A♥A♣6♦4♦
Moreschi was in rough shape against Lowery's aces but the 3♥ turn gave him the nut-low to keep his tournament hopes alive. The 4♣ river changed nothing and Lowery took the other half with his seven-high straight.
