The flop fell 10♠6♦9♥ and was checked by both players. Negreanu announced "pot" on the subsequent 2♥ turn and Loube flicked in the 1,500 chips to call.
Negreanu slowed down when the 7♥ river arrived and checked it to his opponent, who made a pot-sized bet of his own for 4,500 chips.
"What do you have?" Negreanu asked.
"The ace of hearts," Loube replied.
"It's hard to make a flush," Negreanu argued before putting in the call.
Loube showed down A♥Q♥4♣3♣ for the nuts, after which Negreanu took one last look at his cards before tossing them into the muck.
