Kono’s Aces Get Paid On the River
Nível 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
The action was caught on the river, where the board was 7♥3♥2♦J♥10♣.
The pot was around 30,000 and Jonathan Hanner bet 6,000. Reiji Kono raised all in for 33,500 total. Hanner went into the tank, but eventually called. Kono flipped over the A♦A♣.
Aces were good for Kono’s double-up, as Hanner mucked his hand. He later said he had pocket eights.
