In a three-handed pot, Thomas Choi bet 11,000 on a board of 3♦10♠J♠2♦ and Matthew Schulte called in the hijack.

The river came the 6♦ and Choi, in the big blind, fired out another 8,000. Schulte then threw in five red 5,000 chips.

Choi went to expose his hand before realizing that Schulte had raised to 21,000. "Back door flush? Diamonds," Choi wondered as he pondered the decision with just 25,000 left in his stack. He eventually folded and Schulte took the pot.

The button raised to 3,500 and Brent Whitis came along in the small blind.

When the A♣10♠5♥ flop hit the felt, Whitis check-called a bet of 2,000.

The 7♥ hit the turn and Whitis checked once again before he was faced with a bet of 4,500.

"six-seven-eight-nine," counted Whitis aloud before making the call.

His opponent responded, "I guess I don't want to see any of those cards."

The 9♥ completed the board and both players knuckled the table. Whitis opened 6♠6♥, and his opponent mucked as he pulled in the pot.

Hinkle's Aces Send One Out

With 23,000 in the middle the flop read 7♦5♠3♠, and Blair Hinkle checked to his opponent who tossed a bet of 21,000 into the middle. Hinkle ripped all in, His opponent had 32,500 behind and tanked about two minutes before making the call.

Simon Steedman and Sota Hanada went heads-up to the turn on a board of 8♠10♠A♥9♥ when Steedman, in the cutoff, bet 11,500 and Hanada called from the big blind.

The river came the 7♣ and Steedman moved all in for around 60,000. Hanada's cards instantly hit the muck and Steedman had more chips to pile up beside his Pokemon card protector.

Hawkins Puts Maximum Pressure

Maurice Hawkins and Brandon Mincher were both in the upper echelons of the chip counts when they tangled in a pot worth over 150,000 chips by the turn. The board read 10♥9♠5♦9♦ and Hawkins made a bet of 67,000 from the hijack. Mincher was on the button and made the call.

The river fell the 2♦ and Hawkins instantly made a bet of 175,000, enough to put Mincher all-in.

"I need a second guys," Mincher said as he mulled over this predicament.

Eventually, he made the fold and Hawkins increased his chip lead in the Red section even further.
