"What a Joke"
Richard Ryder raised 80,000 in the cutoff and Harsheel Kothari called in the small blind before Jason Liu three-bet 240,000 from the big blind. Ryder called, and Kothari made the fold.
The flop of 10♦8♥4♦ received checks from both players and the 2♠ hit the turn.
Liu led out for 310,000 and Ryder made the call.
When the A♠ landed on the river, Liu took a moment before cutting out a bet of 600,000. Ryder instantly announced a call while tabling 10♠10♥ for a set of tens on the flop. Liu rolled over his A♥A♦, rivering the highest set and Ryder exploded out of his chair and walked about 10 feet away. A tablemate peeled the 600,000 off his stack for the dealer to reach and sent it to Liu.
After a few seconds, Ryder came back and said, "What a joke. What an absolute joke."
