On the first hand, the board showed Q♠7♠J♣10♣ when Masato Yokosawa checked and decoded to call a bet worth 340,000 from Chance Kornuth seated on the button.
The 9♦ landed on the river and they both checked. Kornuth tabled A♣8♦ for the straight and Yokosawa mucked his cards.
The hand after, Kornuth raised in the cutoff to 45,000, and the button called. Michael Banducci three-bet to 210,000 in the big blind, Kornuth replied with a four-bet to 445,000 and the button got out of the way.
Banducci tanked for a minute and five-bet to 860,000. After some thought, Kornuth let it go.
