Hand 1:
Just a few minutes into the day a three-way preflop all in occurred.
Diego Ventura: A♦K♣
Mark Seif: Q♠10♦
Felipe Ketzer: A♠J♣
The flop kept Ventura in the lead but everyone with a chance to scoop as it fanned out K♥2♦10♣. Seif needed to catch a ten as the queens were working for Ketzer and his Broadway draw.
The turn was the 4♦ and the K♦ sealed a crucial triple for Ventura who was the shortest stack. Seif won the side pot against Ketzerm leaving the latter on fumes.
Hand 2:
The very next hand, Ketzer raised to 100,000 but only had 25,000 behind. Ventura felt adventurous and pushed the rest in, which Ketzer called when it folded back around.
Felipe Ketzer: K♠6♠
Diego Ventura: A♣7♣
Ketzer was double pipped but all things considered his cards and suit were live, then the flop rolled 9♣8♥7♦ giving Ventura a pair and Ketzer a straight draw.
The turn paired with the 8♣ giving Ventura the nut flush draw as well, but when the 5♥ peeled off on the river, it made the straight for Ketzer and gave him a breath of life.
