Both players checked on the 7♦ turn and Silver checked again when the 3♥ river paired the board. Negreanu bet 12,000 and Silver quickly called and showed K♣K♠.
"That's a stupid beat," Negreanu said as he tabled K♦3♦ for trip threes.
"A king and I would have been gone," Negreanu added as he collected the pot.
