The flop came A♥9♦7♣ and Kassouf check-called a bet of 2,500 from Pearson. On the 4♣ turn Kassouf checked again and Pearson sized to 6,000.
"I need a ten or a club," joked Kassouf before tossing in chips for the call.
The river fell the Q♥ and Kassouf checked a third time. Pearson announced all in, covering the stack of Kassouf, who quickly folded. The pot was sent to Pearson who rolled over 9♥9♣ to show he flopped a set.
"Set of nines like a boss! What a life," laughed Kassouf as Pearson stacked his newly acquired chips.
