With players heads up on a board reading A♥K♦9♣ and about 8,000 in the pot, Kenji Yamase bet 6,000 from middle position and was called by Jon Turner on the button.

The turn came the J♦. Yamase moved all in with a covering stack and Turner made the call to put himself at risk.

"I have outs," Turner said as the river came the 6♦. "That's not one of them."

Turner, who will have the option to reenter for the first nine levels of the tournament, was sent to the rail while Yamase took down a sizable early pot.

Action checked around to Henke, who bet 600 on the K♦Q♣K♠ flop, receiving a call from both opponents. All three players checked the 9♦ turn.

The river was the 7♣ and action once again checked around to Henke, who bet 1,700. The under the gun player called while the hijack folded.

Henke tabled K♥8♠ for the winner and dragged in a small pot.

In the cutoff, Stepas Tindziulis checked the action to the player on the button who bet out for 4,000. Tindziulis thought about his decision for some time before raising all in for 23,000.

Tindziulis's opponent eventually folded and he took this pot down without a showdown.

On the 3♣ turn Ha bet again, this time for 5,300. Lim once again made the call.

The river was the A♥. Ha moved all in for approximately 11,000 and was called by Lim who covered him.

Lim showed down Q♠Q♦ while Ha tabled A♦6♦ for a rivered pair of aces to secure the double up.
