Goldklang Doubles Through Parry

Dustin Goldklang limped the button only to see Matthew Parry raise to 1,400,000 from the big blind. Goldklang called leading to a 6♦3♠3♥ flop.

Parry continued with a bet of 900,000 and Goldklang didn't waste much time in calling to see the 3♣ hit the turn.

Parry bet out again, this time for 1,000,000 and again, Goldkland called to bring the 5♦ out on the river.

Parry grabbed a stack of 500,000 denomination chips and moved them into the pot to put Goldklang all in. Goldklang quickly called and turned up the A♥10♥8♣3♦ for quad threes, beating the A♦A♣K♥9♣ of Parry and securing a full double for Goldklang.

Parry Applies Pressure Where It Hurts

Ian Matakis was in the big blind and called all in for slightly less than the raise to send all the players to the 8♣A♥6♣ flop.

Both Goldklang and Parry checked to bring the 6♣ out on the turn.

Goldklang checked once again and Parry decided to toss out a bet of 2,000,000. Goldklang quickly folded to send the other two players to the river with Matakis at risk.

Once the cards were on their backs, it became apparent that Matakis was drawing dead headed to the river.

The dealer burned a card and placed the inconsequential J♦ on the river to end Matakis' run at a second bracelet of the summer and send him home in third place for $205,696.

Parry Finds the Nuts Against Matakis

In the last hand before the break, Ian Matakis called from the dealer button. Matthew Parry called as well and Dustin Goldklang checked from the big blind.

The flop came 7♠6♦10♥, and Parry led out for 400,000. Only Matakis made the call.

While the K♣ peeled off on the turn, Parry continued for 1,500,000. Matakis found the call.

The river came the 5♦, and Parry sized up for 3,700,000. Matakis took his time before he made the call. Unfortunately for him, Parry showed 9♦8♦2♦9♠ for the flopped nut straight.

Parry Drags A Big Pot From Matakis

Matthew Parry raised from the button to 750,000 from the button and got called by both Dustin Goldklang in the small blind and Ian Matakis in the big blind leading to a 10♣8♦Q♥ flop.

Goldkland and Matakis both checked to Parry who continued with a bet of 850,000. Goldklang got out of the way but Matakis called to see the K♣ hit the turn.

Matakis opted to check again only to see Parry toss out another bet, this time for 2,400,000. Matakis paused briefly before putting in the call to see the 2♣ fall on the river.

Action checked through to showdown and Parry quickly tabled the A♣J♦7♠5♠ for the nut straight. Matakis tossed his cards towards the muck and Parry collected what had become a pretty big pot.

Goldklang's Raise is Enough to Win the Pot
