On the next hand, Brewer opened to 9,000 and Gaston called. The flop came Q♠8♦2♠ and Gaston check-called a bet of 4,500 from Brewer. The turn was the 7♣ and both players checked to the 6♣ on the river.
Gaston flicked in a bet of 13,000 and Brewer looked him up. Gaston turned over A♠8♣ for a pair of eights which was good enough to win the pot.
