Bixler Doubles Through Borenstein
Nível 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
A player in middle position raised to 20,000 and was called by Jonathan Borenstein in the cutoff and Mark Bixler in the small blind leading to a 5♥7♦J♥ flop.
Bixler open-jammed from the small blind and the initial raiser called, putting action on Borenstein, who decided to jam himself. This got a fold from the player in middle position and sent Borenstein and Bixler to a runout with Bixler at risk.
Mark Bixler: 10♣9♣6♦4♣
Jonathan Borenstein: K♥Q♥10♣5♣
Bixler had a lot of outs to make a straight but none could be hearts. When the 8♠ hit the turn, he shot to the lead in the hand.
The A♦ on the river changed nothing, allowing Bixler a full double-up.
