Tedeschi Gets a Near Double-Up

Nível 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Paul Tedeschi opened for 1,300 from late position and was called by a player in the cutoff. The button then three-bet to 3,600, forcing the blinds out but getting calls from Tedeschi and the late-position player.

Action checked to the button on a flop of 968 and he continued for 12,000. Tedeschi made the call while the late position player, after some thought, got out of the way.

The J turn saw Tedeschi lead out, first attempting to move all in before being told the maximum he could bet was 36,100. That left Tedeschi with only a few chips behind but his opponent just called rather than getting it all in.

Tedeschi did move the remainder of his stack into the middle after the J river completed the board. Despite the small amount needed to make the call, the button player decided he could not be winning and mucked to hand Tedeschi a near double-up.

Armstrong Sends Arieh Packing

Nível 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Josh Arieh
Josh Arieh

Picking up the action on the flop, Josh Arieh in the big blind was involved in a hand with a player in the small blind and middle position as well as Lee Armstrong in the cutoff. With the board reading 910Q action checked to Arieh and he moved all in for his last 5,300. The middle position player called only to see Armstrong move all in for 47,000. That got the small blind and middle position players to get out of the way, putting Arieh officially at risk.

Josh Arieh: AQ43
Lee Armstrong: KQJ9

Arieh was drawing very thin against his opponent's flopped straight with no possibility for a split pot and had already left his seat before the board ran out 65 to confirm his exit only a few minutes after entering.

Esposito Quartered

Nível 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

John Esposito limped from middle position before a player in late position raised to 2,000. Robert Campbell called on the button with Esposito also making the call to send action three-way to the flop.

All three players checked through the 47K flop to the 2 turn at which point Esposito led out for 3,000. Both of his opponents made the call.

The 6 river saw Esposito slow down, checking to the late position player who fired off 4,000. That forced Campbell out of the hand but Esposito quickly called and showed down AJ103. It was only good for a quarter of the pot, however, as the late position player held A653 to scoop the remaining three quarters.
