Holley Pots the River

Stephen Deutsch opened to 180,000 on the button and found a call from John Holley in the big blind.

Holley checked the 2♣6♣7♥ flop and called when Deutsch continued for 100,000.

Both players checked the Q♥ turn, with Holley leading out on the J♥ river for the full pot. Deutsch mucked his hand as Holley added a pile of chips to his stack.

Holley Wins One; Smirnov Chops With Deutsch

Ryan Hoenig raised to 210,000 in the hijack and earned a call from John Holley in the small blind. They checked to the 8♠5♠4♦6♣6♦ river on which Holley bet 200,000 and Hoenig folded.

Hassan Kamel then raised to 180,000 in the cutoff and Anton Smirnov three-bet the pot to 510,000 with few chips behind. Stephen Deutsch moved all-in for around 1.2 million and Kamel asked for a count while Smirnov was briefly stunned.

"That's more than I expected," Kamel said and folded while Smirnov called it off.

The 6♦6♠2♠ flop and 9♠ turn locked up the high portion for Deutsch. Smirnov needed a low card to escape and spiked the 4♦ river to chop with the nut low.

Deutsch Strikes Back

Weisman's pair of queens remained ahead after the 3♠10♥6♠ flop, but the 9♦ turn delivered a straight for Deutsch. The 3♦ river completed the board, as Deutsch doubled back through Weisman.

Weisman Doubles Through Deutsch

After some back and forth tussles with minor chip changes, Dylan Weisman raised the pot to 210,000 from under the gun and Stephen Deutsch three-bet the pot to 660,000 in the big blind. Weisman pushed all-in and Deutsch called.

"No king please," Weisman said and started walking to his rail. When the K♣5♥3♠ flop brought the king, he instantly groaned a "fuck me". He didn't even realise at first that the J♥ turn and 6♥ river ensured the full double via running hearts, while Deutsch's low hopes had bricked.

Weisman instantly apologised as his stack of 1,060,000 was counted and paid for, leaving Deutsch short.

Kamel Bulldozes Further Ahead

John Holley raised the pot to 180,000 and Hassan Kamel defended the big blind. On a flop of 6♦5♣4♣, Holley check-called for 150,000 and the K♦ turn was checked. Holley also checked the 7♦ river and Kamel bet the pot to force out Holley.

Kamel limped the next small blind and Anton Smirnov checked his option in the big blind. The 6♠4♥3♣ flop was checked by Kamel and he called a bet for 60,000. On the K♥ turn both checked and Kamel bet the 9♠ river for 300,000 to take it without resistance.

Dylan Weisman raised the pot and won the blinds and antes.

Kamel opened to 180,000 and Stephen Deutsch came along in the big blind. The 8♦6♦4♥ flop was checked by Deutsch, who then folded to Kamel's bet of 200,000.

The next open raise to 180,000 by the Aussie also went through as Weisman forfeited his big blind and big blind ante.

Hoenig Takes Check Battle

The flop of 10♦10♣6♠ saw all three players check, with the action repeating on the J♣ turn.

One more check from each player on the 7♥ river saw Holley announce "jack" before Hoenig showed A♣K♦J♥3♠ for two pair with an ace kicker to take down the pot.

Kamel Rips Into Holley

Stephen Deutsch raised to 160,000 and was called by Ryan Hoenig in the big blind. On the A♠7♥4♥ flop, Hoenig bet 125,000 and Deutsch raised to 470,000 in order to force a fold.

One hand later, John Holley opened to 135,000 and was called by Hassan Kamel from one seat over, Deutsch defended his big blind. The trio headed to the 9♥9♦7♣ flop on which the action checked to Kamel, who bet 175,000 and received two calls.

The 3♠ followed on the turn and two checks led to Kamel's bet of 700,000. Deutsch frantically fiddled with his remaining chips and folded while Holley called after brief consideration.

That brought them to the A♦ river and Holley checked. Kamel plunked in a large stack of T-100,000 chips and it was worth an effective pot-sized bet of 2,420,000.

"I have a low ... you don't have to have a low," Holley said, enjoying a table massage since the two table redraw.

Ultimately, Holley opted to fold and asked "You got anything?"

Kamel replied swiftly: "I definitely had something."

"Did you have a low?" Holley asked shortly after.

"Too much information," Kamel concluded with a big smile on the face.
