Fans Welcome to Attend Tomorrow's Celebration of Life for Doyle Brunson

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Fans are welcome to come to celebrate the life of the late poker legend Doyle Brunson at Horseshoe Las Vegas on July 2 at 11:30 a.m.

Many high-profile poker players will speak at the memorial, which will take place inside the Jubilee Theater near the Horseshoe poker room, about a two-minute walk from the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament area.

Brunson, a 10-time WSOP bracelet winner and 1988 Poker Hall of Fame inductee, passed away last month at 89. He left behind quite a legacy in poker and will forever be remembered as one of the all-time greats.

Some former Brunson opponents and long-time friends such Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, and Dewey Tomko will speak at the event. Jack Binion, former owner of Binion's Horseshoe, the original site of the WSOP, will also give a speech.

Vyshnevetskyy's Kicker Takes it Down

Nível 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

A player raised 7,000 under the gun, and Vladyslav Vyshnevetskyy called in the hijack.

The dealer fanned a flop of AK9, and Vyshnevetskyy called a bet of 10,000 from the preflop aggressor.

The 3 hit the turn, and both players knuckled the table.

When the 7 completed the board, the under-the-gun player dropped a green chip across the line for a bet of 25,000 and Vyshnevetskyy matched the bet.

After being shown A8 by his opponent, Vyshnevetskyy showed his A10 for a better kicker and took down the pot.

Yes Cerjak, You'll Stay

Nível 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jason Cerjak went all in for his last 28,000 in early position and was immediately isolated by the player on his left. Cerjak saw the bad news when the cards were on their backs.

Jason Cerjak: KQ
Early Position: AA

Cerjak shook his head and stood up, started collecting his belongings, and seemed to be coming to terms with being eliminated before the dealer rolled the flop.

It fanned out 396 and he exclaimed, "Oh my God!!", dumbfounded by the stroke of luck. By the time the 8 and the 9 rolled off, he was back in his seat and ready to stack the chips, as his flush easily prevailed against the red aces.

Teran Scores the Triple

Nível 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

A player limped in early position, followed by the hijack doing the same and Sergio Teran jammed his 24,000 in the middle from the button. The original limper and the hijack both made the call.

There was no side pot created as both players checked to the river on the AJ2A9 board, and Teran instantly tabled AQ for trip queens. Both opponents attempted to muck their hands, but the dealer informed them all hands must be tabled when a player is all-in. The early position player showed 88 and the hijack tabled 97.
