Jeff Brown shoved his 2,600 all-in from early position and was called by four players.

The dealer spread a flop of A♠9♣5♥, and the action checked to the cutoff who bet 3,500. Only one player check-called.

The 6♠ hit the turn and the player first to act check-called another bet of 4,500.

When the 9♠ completed the board, the cutoff fired another bet of 8,000 once checked to, and his opponent folded.

Both hands had to be tabled for the main pot, and the cutoff showed K♦10♥, while Brown dragged the pot with 9♥8♠, making trip nines.

On a board reading Q♦5♠Q♠, Evan Thomas was facing a bet of 4,000 and decided to go all in for his remaining 13,500. His opponent didn't seem to like it much but settled on a call anyway.

Opponent: 6♠4♠

Looked like Thomas was in good shape as he just had to dodge another spade. The turn was the A♥ and the river bricked out the J♦, securing the double for Thomas with his three queens.

One of Thomas' tablemates couldn't help but chirp up, "You were ahead the whole way! No problem!"

Shepek Takes it Down

The flop came 2♥K♣3♥, and Shepek led out for 6,700. Her opponent folding stating that they had "ace-queen," while Shepek scooped the pot.

Ace on the River for Whitaker

Stephen Whitaker was all-in before the flop for 15,200 and there were two opponents.

The dealer fanned a flop of 9♥6♥3♣ and the player first to act bet 10,000. Geoffrey Bowlsby made the call, creating a side pot.

Before the turn came, the player first to act jammed his remaining 10,500 across the line and Bowlsby made the call after seeing the Q♠.

Bowers' Bigger Pocket Pair Leads to Deeper Pockets

The turn came 8♠, and action was again checked to Bowers. He moved all in for 14,500, and after a few moments was called.

The Pip Is Right for Barker

Action was joined as four players matched 1,200-chip bets preflop - a player in middle position, a player in late position, Thomas Paxton from the cutoff, and Avery Barker from the button.

The flop came 5♠2♣6♦, and action checked to the player in late position. She bet 2,000, with Paxton and Barker choosing to remain in.

The 4♠ came on the turn, and Paxton and Barker called a bet of 7,000 from their opponent.

An A♠ hit the river. The player in late position fired out a bet of 15,000. Paxton let the hand go, while Barker made the call. Barker's opponent turned over 8♠6♠ for a flush, but Barker's 9♠7♠ gave him the higher flush and the pot.

Despite Paxton not winning the hand, he shared with PokerNews (and showed visual proof) of how he came back from an early short stack - by turning a royal flush and tripling up!
