John Armbrust needed to double up his chips as the short stack at the table, and he found an opportunity in a battle of the blinds.
After action folded to Armbrust in the small blind, he moved all in with K♥3♦ against Vadim Shlez, who called while holding 7♠5♠ in the big blind.
The board ran out K♣8♦6♣ on the flop, giving Armbrust top pair. Shlez, though, flopped an open-ended straight draw to provide some anxiety for Armbrust.
The J♣ on the turn and 3♣ on the river gave Armbrust the win, and some much-needed chips.
