With heads-up action, the flop produced A♥Q♦7♣ for the two players. Brenes checked, and the player on the button bet, which Brenes immediately called to bring the action to the turn, where the 6♦ hit the board.
Brenes checked, leading to the player on the button to bet once again, only to see Brenes quickly check-call a second time. The dealer then placed 3♥ on the river, and both players checked down the action.
Brenes tabled A♦8♣, and the player on the button tossed his hand face down to the dealer, who pushed the pot to Brenes.
