Spirins fired again on the 2♠ river for 36,000. Foxen raised it to 144,000, leaving a single yellow 1,000 chip behind.

Spirins, clearly put on a difficult decision, took about 30 seconds to consider his options before sticking in the call.

Foxen tabled J♣9♣ for the nut straight to receive a full double up while Spirins stack was reduced to slightly less than half of what it was before.
