Day 3 Action

Day 3 started with 109 players, and the field soon thinned with multiple all-ins on the first hands of the day. Scott Faulkner, Alan Goehring and Osama Aweida were among the early casualties of the day

The 2022 Super Seniors champion Massoud Eskandari's quest to go back-to-back failed after his pocket Kings were cracked after Robert Whalen hit an ace on the river.

The undoubted star of the day was Elizabeth Bennett-Martin, whose raucous rail kept everyone entertained in the room. 'Lucky Lizzie' pulled off a number of Houdini-like escapes but eventually was eliminated in 14th place.

Richard Wallace raised to 400,000 from the hijack and was called by Rassoul Malboubi on the button and big blind Ronald Swain.

The flop came 6A6 and Wallace bet another 500,000. Malboubi tanked for several minutes before he called, as did Swain.
