Straight On The Board
Nível 3
: Limits 500/1,000, 0 ante
James Ownby opened from early position, and David Tobin three-bet on the button. The blinds folded, and Ownby called.
Tobin added more chips to the pot on the flop of 6♥4♦7♣, and Ownby check-called. The same action occurred on the turn 5♠, and then both players slowed down on the river 3♦.
Both players showed a big pair, with Tobin revealing J♣J♠ and Ownby Q♦Q♣. However, they both just took back the chips they had bet because the straight on the board resulted in a split pot.
