Hendrix Checks Aces Down to a River

Adam Hendrix raised from the hijack to 12,000 and Ioannis Angelou Konstas in the cutoff called.

They went heads up to a flop of JQ3.

The action on all three streets checked through to a 9 turn and a Q river.

Hendrix was first to show as he tabled AAK4. His aces held to the river and Hendrix claimed this pot.

Yu Surrenders the Flop

Shiva Dudani raised to 12,000 in the cutoff and the action folded to Ben Yu in the big blind who counted out his stack before making the call.

On the J65 flop, Yu checked to Dudani who pushed out a continuation bet of 16,000. Yu went in the tank for about 30 seconds and eventually pitched his cards into the muck.

Harwood Makes Two Pair

Jay Harwood opened to 11,000 under the gun, and both Tim Van Loo and Jaspal Brar came along in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of J95 and both Van Loo and Brar checked to Harwood who continued for 19,000. Van Loo called quickly, while Brar took about 20 seconds before doing the same.

The 6 turn and 7 river were checked down and Harwood tabled QJ75 for two pair, which was good to drag the pot.

Action was picked up preflop. Martin Kabrhel had already placed a bet of 18,000 from middle position, leaving only 3,000 behind. Anthony Maio had made a pot-sized raise, sending Kabrhel deep into the tank despite having already committed 85% of his stack.

After a significant amount of time and table talk, Kabrhel finally made the call to put himself at risk.

The board ran out 103J109, Maio's Kings held and Kabrhel was sent to the rail.

As recounted by the players, Ivey ended up all in and at risk against Chinta and the hand went to a showdown.

The turn and river came the 8 and 10 respectively. A flush for Chinta sent Ivey to the rail.

Okamura Flops a Set Against Hui

Motoyoshi Okamura raised to 12,000 on the button and only Phillip Hui made the call in the small blind.

The dealer spread a flop of A92, and Hui check-called a bet of 10,000 from Okamura.

The 10 fell on the turn and Hui check-called once again, this time Okamura bet 15,000.

When the Q completed the board, both players checked and Hui tabled A2 for two pair, while not exposing his other two cards. Okamura showed 9965 for a set of nines and the dealer pushed him the pot.

"Quads" For Lin

PokerNews caught up with the action as two players were looking at a board of J28.

The action was on Ren Lin in the small blind who shoved all in for the remainder of his stack. Lin's opponent in the cutoff thought for some time before tossing their cards into the muck.

"Yes!" Lin exclaimed "Quads!" he announced as he tabled three of his four cards showing KKK. The table all laughed as Lin raked in this pot.
