Lau Chips Up; Halatenko Four-Bets Garza
Nível 26
: 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ka Kwan Lau raised and earned calls from Stanislav Halatenko as well as Oswin Ziegelbecker, the latter of which was in the big blind. They checked the A♥10♦8♦ flop and Ziegelbecker bet the 4♠ turn for 500,000, which only Lau called.
Both then checked the 3♣ river and Ziegelbecker flashed his J♦10♣7♦6♣ for a pair of tens, which had missed two gutshots and a flush draw.
"I have two pair," Lau announced and his Q♠Q♦8♠4♦ won the pot.
Shortly after on the same table, Halatenko raised to 200,000. Ap Garza raised the pot to 720,000 and it folded back to the initial raiser. Halatenko announced pot, which was a four-bet to 2,280,000. Garza tanked for a minute and let go.
