Jay Harwood bet 35,000 from early position and received calls from Peng Shan in middle position and Venkata Chita in the cutoff. Ionnis Angelou Konstas announced "pot" and bet 183,000. Harwood and Shan folded leaving players heads up. Chita moved all in with a covering stack and Konstas made the call to put himself at risk.

The board ran out K♣7♣4♠4♣8♣. Both players had two-pair, Kings and Fours but Konstas had the best kicker with an ace to take down a key pot. Chita was left short-stacked and would bust out shortly after.
Konstas mentioned after the hand that he was down to a single yellow 1,000 chip earlier in the tournament when the big blind was 2,500. He has increased his stack more than twenty fold since then.
