Monigold Scores Fast Double Up with Cooler Hand

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

There were even starting stacks to start the tourney. But just six minutes into Level 1, Brian Monigold had a player’s entire stack.

A player in late position raised preflop, and then the player to his immediate left three-bet.

Monigold, who was next to act on the cutoff, looked down at his hand and four-bet to 3,500, which forced out the original raiser. The player to his immediate right then five-bet to 10,000, which Monigold elected to flat.

The dealer fanned 10109 on the flop, which Monigold’s opponent led out with 4,000. Manigold called.

The turn saw 7, which Monigold’s opponent check. Monigold went all in, and the player to his right called to put his tournament life at stake.

The river produced J, which sealed Monigold as the winner and sent his opponent to the rail.

Malec Shove Gets Through

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

With around 3,000 in the middle on a flop of 1074, the hijack bet 2,900 and was check-raised by Sebastian Malec in the big blind to 7,100 which was called by the hijack.

The 2 fell on the turn and Malec announced "all-in", which prompted a snap fold from the hijack as their cards hit the muck before Malec could move his chips forward.
