Heller Cuts Down Kessler

Nível 21 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Allen Kessler moved all in for around 60,000 on a flop of 8QK and Cheryl Heller called to put him at risk.

"Do you have king-queen," Kessler asked as he turned over AK73. Heller didn't have that hand, but she did have AK86 for two pair.

The turn came the 10. "I need a jack," Kessler said, but he missed the 6 river and was sent to the rail with his 106h career WSOP cash, but no bracelet.

Force Puts Woods to the Test

Nível 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Big O

James Woods and Leif Force went to the river on a board of 64K78 when Woods put 110,000 in front of him in early position.

Force, in the cutoff, then raised to 340,000 as Woods sent deep into the tank for the rest of his stack.

"I told you I have aces," Woods said as he stood up from his seat.

"Got a coin," Force said, leaning back in his chair.

"Sorry guys. I got to do this," Woods told the table as several minutes went by. He eventually open-folded AA63.

"I'm the worst player who ever lived," Woods said as Force silently took in the pot without showing.

Atamian Exits As Allen Stacks the Chips

Nível 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Richie Allen raised from middle position and Alfred Atamian raised to put himself all in.

Allen called and the two were headed to a runout with Atamian at risk.

Alfred Atamian: AA42
Richie Allen: KK54

The J104 was safe for Atamian, but the 5 gave Allen two pair and put Atamian behind going to the river.

The Q fell on the river and send Atamian to the rail as the chips were pushed in Allen's direction.

Zamani Raises the River on Vonk

Nível 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

In a blind versus blind battle, Martin Zamani bet on a flop of 2Q4 and Marcel Vonk called.

Both players checked the 5 turn and Zamani also checked the J river.

Vonk now bet and Zamani came back with a raise. Vonk called and Zamani turned over A532 for the wheel as Vonk mucked, being left with just 6,000.

With that pot, Zamani has become the first player to eclipse 1,000,000.

Force Picks Off Le

Nível 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Big O

Allan Le reraised to 82,000 out of the big blind and Leif Force called in the cutoff as they went heads-up to a flop of 9QJ.

Le continued for 31,000 and Force tanked for a moment before calling. Both players checked the K turn.

The river came the 2 and Le bet another 75,000. Force instantly tossed in three green 25,000 chips to call. Le snap-mucked his cards and Force took down the big pot without a showdown.

Le Gets Three Streets

Nível 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Action folded to the button who raised and got called by Allan Le in the small blind and Clifford Schinkoeth in the big blind leading to a 992 flop.

Le led with a bet that was called by Schinkoeth. The button folded to let the pair go heads up to a J turn card.

Le checked over to Schinkoeth who tossed out a bet. Le answered back with a check-raise that was called by Schinkoeth, prompting the dealer to put the 10 out on the river.

Le led again and Schinkoeth quickly called to see Le turn over the JJ76. Schinkoeth tossed his cards into the muck as the jacks full of Le were good for the whole pot with no low available.

Michael Kong: AA106
Kyle Merron: A765

The AK7 flop gave Kong top set and Merron two pair. "Cooler," Merron said as the 10 fell on the turn.

The river came the 2 and Merron made a running flush to crack Kong's set and send him to the rail.

A Round of Chip Counts

Nível 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Matusow Silenced by Kupin

Nível 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Aaron Kupin raised from late position and the action folded to Mike Matusow who raised the rest of his chips into the pot. Kupin made the call to take both players to a runout with Matusow at risk.

Mike Matusow: KKJ7
Aaron Kupin: QQ63

Matusow started the hand quite a ways ahead but that all changed when the flop came 667, making three sixes for Kupin and catapulting him into the lead with two cards to come.

The 5 turn and 3 river would offer no improvement for Matusow who exited the tournament area as Kupin collected the pot.
