Abrams Quarters Verbakel
Nível 29
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Scott Abrams raised to 275,000 from the cutoff and was called by Bjorn Verbakel in the big blind.
Verbakel checked the Q♥8♦A♣ flop and Abrams put out another bet of 325,000. Verbakel declared pot and pushed 1,705,000 into the middle.
Abrams went into the tank for a minute or two — counting his chips and muttering calculations to himself. Eventually he said, "I call" and the cards went on their backs.
Scott Abrams: A♥Q♣9♥7♦2♦
Bjorn Verbakel: A♠Q♠9♦6♥5♣
The turn came 6♠ and the river was the J♥. Both players had aces and queens for high but Abrams 7♦ 2♦ played for low and he took three-quarters of the pot.
