Christian Loucas had lost the majority of his chips when he and Brian Gatliff had pocket queens and Gatliff ran out a four-card flush to scoop the pot. Gatliff was kind enough to buy him a beverage though for the suck-out.
Loucas was right back in the action though as his last 90,000 in chips were at risk against Julien Perouse.

Loucas had run into a monster but the A♥Q♠Q♥ flop gave him the lead. The 5♦ landed on the turn and the A♠ on the river filled Loucas to a full house to remain in the tournament.
