Hallaert Flops The World
Nível 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Kenny Hallaert opened the action to 2,500 from early position and a player next to act put in a three-bet to 6,500. The rest of the table folded and Hallaert came along.
The flop fanned out 6♦5♦4♦ and Hallaert checked to his opponent who moved all in, well covering the 32,200 remaining for Hallaert, who snap called.
Kenny Hallaert: 9♦8♦
Opponent: K♥K♠
Hallaert had his opponent almost drawing dead after flopping a flush and straight flush re-draw. The board ran out 8♥5♥ and Hallaert scored the full double up.
"Never lucky," joked Hallaert about not making a straight flush as he collected his newly acquired chips.
