Park Scoops Elezra, Dourado Seeks Advice From Vitch

Nível 3

Omaha Hi-Lo

Hye Park and Eli Elezra went heads-up to a flop of Q8Q as Park bet. Elezra called to the 5 turn, where he check-called another bet.

The river came the 4 and Park bet again. Elezra called and Park showed A21010 for two pair and a low to scoop the pot.

While this hand was taking place, Aloisio Dourado and Chris Vitch were discussing Dourado's final hand last night against Shaun Deeb in the Eight Game Mix, where Dourado called all in with queens but ran into Deeb's full house.

"Do you think it was a bad call," Dourado asked Vitch.

"No, of course not," Vitch replied. "It's a good call in machine-land, but Shaun's a f**king nit," he added.

Ace-High Good For Kipnis

Nível 3

Limit Hold'em

Heads-up on a flop of 229, Adam Kipnis bet from the cutoff and an opponent in the big blind called.

The turn came the 10 and Kipnis bet again. His opponent check-called to the 8 river and checked over to Kipnis a third time.

Kipnis now checked back and showed AK for a pair of deuces, ace-kicker, that was good enough to win the pot.

The tournament clock recently went over 200 total entries. Among the newest additions to the field was Andrew Hamm and his familiar Elmo cap. "I had $300 this morning and turned it into $3,000 to get into this," Hamm said.

Bergendahl Calls Down Blom

Nível 4

Limit Hold'em

Viktor Blom was in the big blind and bet on a board of 7298. John Bergendahl called on the button as they went heads-up to the 3 river.

Blom fired out another bet and Bergendahl called. Blom turned over J9 for a pair of nines.

"What's that," Bergendahl said as he looked at Blom's hand. He then turned over 88 for a set of eights to take the pot off the online legend.

Kipnis Can't Draw Well Off Cernuto

Nível 4

No-Limit 2-7

Adam Kipnis raised to 1,100 from under the gun before John Cernuto reraised to 3,300 in the cutoff. Action folded back to Kipnis, who called and took one.

Cernuto stood pat and Kipnis checked over to him. Cernuto checked behind and showed 9x7x6x5x2x.

"I was drawing to kill you. I was going for a seven," Kipnis said as he mucked.

"I Thought It was Triple Draw"

Nível 4

No-Limit 2-7

James Karamanis made it 1,200 from early position and a player called from the big blind. The big blind drew two and Karamanis did the same. After the draw, the big blind checked and then called when Karamanis bet 2,100. Karamanis turned over 8x7x5x4x3x to take the pot with the #13 and his opponent shook his head.

"I'm a donkey," the big blind said as he showed what looked like 6x4x3x2x without tipping the fifth card. "I thought it was triple draw."

A moment later, JJ Liu was heads up in a pot with Sergio Braga and there was 4,800 in the middle. Braga took one and Liu took two. After the draw, Braga fired 3,000 and Liu gave it up.

Nakamura Cracks Kessler's Top Set

Nível 4

Pot-Limit Omaha

Tamon Nakamura raised to 1,200 from early position and Allen Kessler called in the big blind.

The flop came KQ5 and Nakamura continued for 2,000. Kessler called and both players checked the 8 turn.

Kessler led out for 2,500 on the 9 river and Nakamura now raised to 8,000. "Really, jack-ten," Kessler said before calling.

Nakamura did, indeed, turn over J107K for the rivered straight to win the pot. "I had top set," Kessler lamented as he mucked.
