Treccarichi now threw in a bet of 7,000 and his opponent peered over at him as he considered the decision before mucking.

At the same table, defending champion Kijoon Park has lost a quarter of his stack in the early going of Day 1.

The river came the 3♥ and action checked to Estes, who again announced pot, this time to 24,600. His opponent tanked for about a minute before calling all in for less.

Estes turned over A♣9♦9♥K♠ for the flopped set that turned into a full house on the river and his opponent briefly flashed his cards before wishing the table luck and heading for an early exit.

"Did he have a three there," tablemate Frankie O'Dell asked.

"I didn't see it," Estes replied as he stacked up the massive pot.

"I guess a three could be a call there. I wasn't paying attention," O'Dell added.

Action was heads up with around 12,000 in the pot and A♠3♥6♦8♦5♦ when a player bet 11,000 into Ken Aldridge in late position. Aldridge tanked for a moment and looked as though he might fold, but he raised to 22,000. His opponent talked through what Aldridge might have before he tossed out the his last 14,300. Aldridge turned over 7♦4♦6♠5♠ for the straight flush.

"That's good, too," Aldridge's opponent said before he left the table.

Martin Smith raised from under the gun and JJ Liu called from middle position before Sergio Braga came along from the small blind. The big blind called and the players tossed out their draw cards.

Braga took one and the big blind took three, while Smith took two and Liu took one. Braga led the betting after the draw and the big blind folded before both Smith and Liu came along.

Braga stood pat after the first drw and Smith took two before Liu took one. Braga bet again and both players called.

After the second draw, Braga was still pat and Smith drew one before Liu tapped the table to hold all five cards. All three players checked the third draw and the cards were turned up.

Braga showed 8x7x6x5x2x to take the pot with an eight-seven and Smith tossed it in the muck before Liu took a second look and conceded the pot.
