There are at least two players who are after the hardware more than anything in the form of Daniel Negreanu and Josh Arieh; the latter won his fifth bracelet just days ago and bagged the chip lead last night. Negreanu is notorious for placing bracelet bets and always puts a full schedule in every summer on the quest for more gold.
Other notables joining Day 2 include the likes of John Racener, who has $11,216,800 in reported tournament earnings and Robert Mizrachi, a four-time bracelet winner. The only two players to join Arieh in the millionaire club were the likes of Matthew Parry and Eric Fields.
