Dan Shak opened to 500,000 from middle position before a player on the button three-bet to 1,400,000. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Shak who, after only a little hesitation, moved all in for around 6,000,000. That sent the button player deep into the tank but, with a look of reluctance, he did eventually release his hand to send the pot over to Shak.

A player in the cutoff opened the hand to 425,000. In response Taylor Fortini, on the button, three-bet jammed for 2,800,000. The action came back around to the cutoff who, after much deliberation, made the call.
Taylor Fortini: J♣9♣
Cutoff: A♦Q♥
The board ran out 7♠9♠9♥10♥4♣. Flopped trips for Fortini afforded him a lucky escape as he doubled up leaving his opponent with fumes.

Action began after the flop of 5♦8♣10♠ with Jaime Madrigal jamming all in for 5,600,000. After taking some time to think, Paul Beeman found a call.

With a run out of J♣K♥, Madrigal found the double up to soar to the top of the chip stacks.
Carmen Raiche-Marsden, who earlier in the day claimed one of the $25,000 bounties, opened to 400,000 from the cutoff. Action folded to the big blind and he moved his short stack into the middle. Raiche-Marsden instantly called to put her opponent at risk.

Carmen Raiche-Marsden: K♦K♠
Raiche-Marsden was in a good spot to scoop the pot and the bounty and did just that after the board ran out 3♦2♠6♥K♣8♥.
Tyler Brown opened from middle position to 435,000 only to be met by the button who shoved all in for their remaining 2,300,000. The big blind, however, did not see the all-in and simply called the original open from Brown. Once informed of this all-in the floor was called to explain to the player in the big blind that he had to either call the all-in or forfeit the 435,000 that lay out in front of him and fold.
Settling on the latter, Tyler called off the jam and both players' hands went to showdown.
Button: K♠8♠
Tyler Brown: K♥Q♦
The board ran out 7♠3♥Q♠2♥2♠ sending the pot, made larger by the player in the big blind, to Brown.
There was an early position jam and Terrence Schehen rejammed. It folded to the big blind who thought for over a minute before putting in the call. With the cards on their back we saw it was a race.
Early Position: 7♥7♣
Big Blind: A♣Q♠
Terrence Schehen: 6♣6♦
The 3♠A♥J♣ flop catapulted the big blind into the lead. The 8♣ turn brought no help but the 6♠ river landed like a bomb, blowing the small stacks out of the tournament. Schehen scored a double knockout and two bounties.
