Konnikova Claims Early Bounty
Nível 23
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Picking up the action partway through the hand, Maria Konnikova in middle position had her opponent in early position all in and at risk.
Early Position: 4♥4♣
Maria Konnikova: A♥9♥
It was a coinflip with a potentially extremely valuable bounty on the line. The 10♥8♣10♠ flop kept the at risk player ahead, though the J♥ turn did give Konnikova an open ended straight draw to go with her two overcards. The 8♠ river double-paired the board, counterfeiting the pocket pair and handing Konnikova the pot plus bounty.
