Yufei Zhong: XxXx/5x9x5x5x/Xx
Liberto continued to bet as each player accumulated duplicates of the card they each already had showing. After checks on the river, Liberto was able to piece his trip deuces into a queen low, and Zhong mucked.
The 70 remaining players have been sent on their second 15-minute break of the day.
Thomas Ricketts: Ax2x9x/3x7xKx2x
Liam Murphy: Ax7x10x/8xQx6xKx
Justin Liberto: XxXxXx/6xKx7x6x
After four bets each were put into the pot on third street which led to Thomas Ricketts being all in, Liam Murphy and Justin Liberto continued on with a side pot.
On fourth street, Ricketts caught good, Liberto caught a king and check-called a bet from Murphy's queen.
Fifth street saw Liberto and Murphy pick up good cards and after Murphy bet, Liberto raised. Murphy called, commenting on how Liberto had been ratcheting up the variance again after the third street raising battle.
Liberto bet sixth street and Murphy called, then finally on seventh street both players slowed down and checked.
Ricketts had made a nine by the end which was good enough for the main pot, while Murphy held a ten, which was good enough to claim the side pot as Liberto mucked his hand.
Allen Kessler: XxXx/7x9xQx - folded on fifth street
Michael Carey: 8x6x4x/7x3xAx7x
Marco Johnson: XxXx/5x9x2x10x/Xx
Carey bet out on fourth and fifth, and bet again on sixth and seventh when Johnson checked to him. Carey revealed 86 and Johnson mucked.
William Buckley: XxXx/2x4x3x2x
Raviv Shevach: XxXx/9xAx6xQx - folded on sixth street
Justin Liberto: XxXx/3x7xQx2x
Shevach raised on three and bet on four, but slowed down, opening the door for Buckley to bet five and six with a two, three, and four showing. Buckley bet again on seventh, folding out Shevach. Liberto called, but mucked when Buckley declared his ten low.
Marco Johnson: 9x2x/4xJxAx5x/Qx
Hisashi Yamanouchi: 7x6x/8x10xAx9x/6x
Picking action up on fifth street, Hisashi Yamanouchi checked to Marco Johnson who bet, and his Japanese opponent called.
On sixth street, Yamanouchi checked again and Johnson bet. This sent Yamanouchi into the tank for a couple of minutes before he elected to call.
Johnson quickly bet seventh street following another check and Yamanouchi called.
Johnson showed a nine-five, while Yamanouchi could only show a nine-eight, sending the pot to the two-time bracelet winner.
