Arends checked again and Foxen took a stab at the pot with a bet of 800,000. Arends called and the 5♥ paired the board on the river. Arends checked one more time and Foxen gave up by checking it back. Arends showed ace-high and Foxen disgustingly threw his cards away.

The flop fell J♦5♠3♦ and Arends continued with a bet of 600,000. Sturm called with bottom pair and the 8♦ landed on the turn. Arends fired out another bet of 1,500,000. That was enough to force Sturm's cards to the muck and Arends extended his lead.

Foxen Gets Klein Off a Chop

Foxen bet 400,000 on the 5♠4♥5♣ flop and Klein called. Foxen then checked on the 8♠ turn and Klein checked back.

The Q♠ river completed the board and Foxen bet 1,100,000. Klein folded and Foxen took down the pot.

The turn brought the 5♣ and both players checked to the 5♠ on the river. Sturm announced all in with a straight which put Davies in the tank for his last 1,660,000. Davies burned through a couple of his time extensions before calling it off with his trip fives. He was shown the bad news and Davies was eliminated in fifth place.

Bill Klein opened to 450,000 under the gun with A♠10♠ and Alex Foxen defended from the big blind with A♣9♥.

The flop came J♥7♥6♦ which missed both players but that didn't stop the action from unfolding. Foxen started with a check and Klein tossed in a bet of 300,000. Foxen check-raised to 925,000 but Klein responded with a reraise to 2,300,000. Foxen was forced to dump his cards to the muck and Klein raked in another pot.

The action folded around to Jans Arends in the small blind who ripped all in as the big stack at the table. Leon Sturm woke up with the goods in the big blind and instantly called off his stack of 4,400,000.

The flop fell J♠4♥3♥ and Sturm was in a great position to double up. The 7♠ on the turn left Arends drawing dead to the 4♠ on the river as Sturm closed the gap on the chip leader.

Foxen led out with a bet of 300,000 and Klein called holding the dominating hand and the lone flush draw. However, the J♠ on the river gave Foxen two pair and he put together a bet of 950,000. Klein flicked in a call and Foxen showed the goods to finally claim a pot.
