Negreanu Gets There on the River, Proclaims 2023 a "New Year"
Daniel Negreanu was all in for around 30,000 from the big blind and up against button Kevin Rabichow.

Negreanu had Rabichow dominated heading to the 2♣Q♦10♣ flop, which gave Rabichow top pair and Negreanu a straight draw. The 9♥ on the turn added some outs for Negreanu to stay alive.
"Eight or a king," Negreanu said, his camera up and running. The dealer turned over the K♠ on the river and Negreanu made his straight to survive.
"2023 is a new year," an exuberant Negreanu said. Rabichow was still smiling as he handed over the pot. "His mental game is on point. Took it like a champ," Negreanu added, pointing his camera at his defeated opponent.
"Was it a flip," Cary Katz asked from another table.
"Ace-jack against queen-jack, so yes," Negreanu replied.
