Not Enough Blockers
On a three-way flop of 6♦3♥5♣, Tom Klee led out for 3,500 and received calls from Mario Concepcion and Tim Quinn.
On the turn 2♦, Klee fired again for 6,600 and Concepcion moved in for the 400 he had left.
Then Quinn decided to raise it up to 25,000 and the pressure was now on Klee.
"Ugh, I hope you have a set or the straight," he sighed as he made the fold and the cards were tabled.
Mario Concepcion: Q♣Q♠
Tim Quinn: 4♦4♥
"Wow, straight AND the blockers," someone ad the table said, mentioning Quinn's hand.
Quinn pretty much had the hand locked down with his straight versus Concepcion's overpair, but the
miracle 4♣ smacked down on the river to put a straight on the board fo the players to chop.
"Wow, are you kidding me right now?" Quinn asked in disbelief as half of the pot was shipped to his opponent.
