Michael Holmes Eliminated in 2nd Place ($134,171)
Nível 38
: Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Michael Holmes limp-called Joseph Altomonte's raise of 3,000,000 before the flop.
When the dealer spread the flop of A♣9♠4♠, Altomonte bet the pot of 7,000,000 and called it off when Holmes jammed for around 10,000,000.
"Do you have the ace?" Asked Holmes before both hands were tabled.
"No, but I have kings," Altomonte replied as he tabled his hand.
Michael Holmes: Q♠J♦J♠4♦
Joseph Altomonte: K♦K♠6♦2♦
Altomonte was ahead with his kings and the board completed with the 6♥ on the turn and the 9♥ on the river, sending Holmes home in 2nd place.
