Keokham Scores A Massive Triple Knockout

Nível 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

A player in the under-the-gun position opened to 600 and saw three players behind make the call to see a 267 flop. Under the gun open shoved for his last 7,000 bringing the action to Phovieng Keokham who also decided on a jam, covering the remaining two players left to act. Both players committed their stacks and created a four-way all in with two cards to come with around 60,000 in the pot.

Under The Gun: JJ
Button: KK
Small Blind: A3
Phovieng Keokham: 22

The board ran out with an inconsequential 10 and 5 as Keokham held to win a massive pot with bottom set and send three players to the rail simultaneously.

2023 WSOP
2023 WSOP

In light of debate over the threat that real-time assistance (RTA) apps pose to live poker, World Series of Poker (WSOP) officials reiterated their rules for use of solvers at the poker table.

Players at the 2023 WSOP will be penalized if they are caught using or referencing a solver during a live hand. Additionally, the WSOP reserves the right to issue penalties to players who are using solvers between hands.

"If caught using RTA/GTO software during a hand, player will be subject to penalty up to and including DQ (disqualification) / trespass," WSOP said in a prepared statement. "We reserve the right to further penalize a player for using RTA/GTO in any other situation in our sole and absolute discretion. Players may continue to use their device to play wsop.com or use the Caesars Sportsbook app while in/out of a hand."

Double Up Before Break

Nível 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a flop of AJ3 a player in early position bet 2,200 and Reggie Joseph called in late position. The turn brought the 6 and the aggressor this time bet 4,400 and received a call from Joseph once again.

A fourth spade arrived on the river and after attempting to eye up her opponent, she placed a bet of 15,000, putting Joseph to the test, and he quickly called:

Reggie Joseph: 99
Unknown Player: AJ

Joseph took the pot with a rivered flush, beating top two pair.

Quads Over Quads

Craig Vigrass
Craig Vigrass

Craig Vigrass alerted PokerNews to a huge hand that in many cash games would score a bad beat jackpot.

As told by Vigrass and his tablemates, following an early position limp, Vigrass raised to 900 which got calls from two more opponents plus the limper.

On the KK9 flop, Vigrass bet 2,000 which everyone called.

The turn 9 double-paired the board and after Vigrass checked, a late position player moved all in for about 6,500. Only Vigrass called to show the coolest of coolers.

Opponent: 99
Craig Vigrass: KK

Vigrass' quads over quads sent his opponent home in a very unceremonious fashion.

Flop Jam from Jacobsen Deters Opponent from Continuing

Nível 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a board of 535 the small blind led 1,200 into a pot of 4,700. Rob Jacobsen, who was in early position, mulled over his options before jamming the entirety of his stack for a bet of approximately 25,000, more than enough to put his opponent's tournament life on the line. After some time, the small blind settled on folding as Jacobsen claimed this pot.

While Jacobsen did not table his cards, he did exclaim, "I wish he had the other five!"
