Under the gun started off the action with a raise to 6,000, a player in middle position called, and when action got to Jeff Whittaker in the big blind, he moved the rest of his stack in for a reraise to 36,000. The under-the-gun player reraised to 70,000 and the player in between folded.
Jeff Whittaker: Q♠J♠
Under the Gun: A♠J♥
Jeff Whittaker was quite behind when the flop came 10♥8♣6♦, leaving him with a nine or a queen as an out. The turn brought the A♥ which caused Whittaker to trade one of his outs for a double gutter. The K♦ completed the board and gave Whittaker a breath of life, giving him Broadway.
