Deyra Gets Value With Aces

Nível 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

David Hu opened in middle position and called a raise from Ivan Deyra in late position.

Hu checked on the flop of {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades} and called a bet of 6,000 from Deyra. Hu checked again on the {8-Hearts} turn and Deyra sized up to 16,500. Hu used a stack of yellow chips to call.

Hu checked again on the {j-Diamonds} turn and Deyra checked back. Hu showed {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for nines and kings, but it was no good against the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} of Deyra for aces and kings.
